The ITS Controlled Boring Range is subdivided into two main product types: the ITS Controlled Boring System (CBS) and ITS Contouring Heads (CH).

Each has a main body which is attached to the machine tool milling sleeve. This provides rigidity of set up and the rotational power transition for operation via the milling sleeve drive keys. The main body houses the high precision internal mechanism which is actuated by the by the linear movement of the machine tool boring spindle to control the cutting action.
