A customised range of balanced twin cutter controlled turning heads designed to external contour machine: tapers; radii; threads; chamfers; grooves; undercuts; multiple diameters & complex geometries.

Applied to the overturning of features such as external profiles, hubs, flanges, weld preparations etc. on components which are traditionally difficult to fixture and turn in the conventional lathe manner such as axles, landing gears, struts, connecting arms etc. Through spindle coolant is available on all models.

The ITS CTS series Controlled Turning System product range is divided into a number of different models each with twin interchangeable cutters designed to cut through a particular diameter range. Ongoing product development continues to provide increases in unit lengths, diameter change, start of stroke range and overall cutting range. The table below is therefore included for guide purposes only, as many of our ITS products are supplied in customised form to suit specific client requirements.
