To Interface ITS tools to Horizontal Boring Machines (HBM) The Manual Adaptor is bolted directly to the HBM Milling sleeve. The ITS tool is bolted directly to the Manual Adaptor.

A Cover plate is also available in a manually loaded version.

To Interface ITS tools to Horizontal Boring Machines (HBM) The Camlock Adaptor is bolted directly to the HBM Milling sleeve. The ITS tool is Cam locked directly to the Manual Adaptor.

A Camlock cover plate is available in either a manually loaded version or a semi automatic toolchange version.

To Interface ITS tools to Specific Horizontal Boring Machines (HBM) The HBM is fitted with an Automatic Milling sleeve clamping device. The ITS tool is automatically toolchanged directly to HBM from either the spindle toolchanger (weight specific) or from a rack or holding fixture.

To Interface ITS tools to Ram style Horizontal Boring Machines (HBM) The Ram of the HBM is fitted with an automatic clamping device (pull studs).

The ITS tool and Autolatch Adaptor are automatically toolchanged directly to the Ram of the HBM from a rack or holding fixture.

To interface ITS tools to Transfer Machines and Special Machine designs.

The interface is made via a quarter turn motion to a Kidney Slot and Bayonet style clamping arrangement.

To interface ITS tools to Deep Hole Drilling and Boring machines . To machine internal bottle bore profiles in extended length components such as Aircraft landing gear or Turbine shafts.

The interface is designed to suit the specific machine tool. Lateral axis drives can also be designed and supplied complete to suit existing machines. (Consult ITS Scotland for further details)
