ITS announces the appointment of a new Design Manager

The FTV Group of Glenrothes has announced the appointment of Keith Birnie as Design Manager for its Innovative Tooling Solutions (ITS) Division. Keith has joined the company after a history of employment in product design and manufacturing including a previous spell with the company in the late 80’s.

As Design Manager, Keith will be responsible for developing the company’s range of controlled boring bars and contouring heads which are used throughout the world within the oil & gas, valve, power generation, aerospace, automotive, process machinery and general engineering industries.

Campbell MacPherson, chairman of the FTV Group told us “We are delighted to welcome Keith back to the FTV group. Product development is central to our development as a business. ITS products are in use around the world but we are constantly being pushed to create new products to meet the requirements of our customers and to keep ahead of our competition.
